Overview

The Sacramento Watersheds Action Group (SWAG) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public-benefit corporation established to put watershed restoration dollars "on the ground" using cost-effective technology and local work forces. SWAG secures funding for, designs, and implements projects that provide:

• Watershed Restoration
• Streambank and Slope Stabilization
• Erosion Control
• Watershed Analysis
• Road Removal ("Roads to Trails")

SWAG implements these projects using the most cost-effective, habitat-enhancing, and innovative techniques possible.
